Brian Sheth, the former president of Vista Equity Partners, is targeting a $3 billion fundraise for a new software-focused private equity fund, the second from his new firm Haveli Investments, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The report cites unnamed sources as revealing that formal fundraising for the new vehicle, a follow-up to the Texas-based firm’s Haveli VC Gaming Fund I, hasn’t stated yet, but early-stage discussions with prospective investors are underway.
