International law firm Proskauer has advised Bessemer Venture Partners, an American venture capital firm, on the creation of two funds which, in total, raised USD3.3 billion.
The BVP XI fund, at USD2.475 billion, will focus on early-stage companies spanning across enterprise, consumer, healthcare, and frontier technologies. The USD825 million Century II fund is designed for growth-stage companies.
The Proskauer team included partners Howard Beber and Matt McBride, associates Kerry Shriver, Stephanie Annunziata, Luke Charette, Coco Xiao, Jeana Johnston, Abigail Luiz (Private Funds), partners Scott Jones and Stephen Severo and associate Kim Swiszcz (Tax).
