A Scottish business services provider is eyeing acquisitions and further expansion in England after investment from a private equity firm.
Anderson Anderson & Brown is best known as an accountancy practice, but it also has operations in payroll, human resources and wealth management. Its 21 partners will continue to be shareholders even after the injection of capital from the London-based August Equity.
AAB has offices in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow and London, serving domestic customers as well as those operating in Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa. Initially it wants to increase its presence in the central belt of Scotland and is keen to extend into other big British cities.
