The New York State Common Retirement Fund ($278 billion AuM) has steadily increased its allocations to private markets, and has finished Q1 at $2.8 billion, according to a report by Alternatives Watch.
The pension fund has increased its exposure to private equity, credit, real estate and hedge funds, with its credit strategies seeing the best results and totalling $1.2 billion in capital.
