Investcorp, a global provider and manager of alternative investment products, has appointed Andrea Davis as the firm’s first Head of Corporate Strategy.
In her new role, Davis will be charged with helping to oversee Investcorp’s execution on its organic and inorganic growth initiatives across geographies and asset classes on behalf of serving its global clients. Andrea will report directly to Mohammed Alardhi, Executive Chairman in this new role. She will continue to be based in London and maintain her existing position as Head of Portfolio Operations and Chief Operating Officer of Investcorp’s European Private Equity business.

Davis joined Investcorp in 2014 as a Managing Director with more than 25 years of experience as a CEO and CFO of numerous companies, including as CFO of Investcorp’s former portfolio company, TDX Group (a European Tech Fund III portfolio company). Since then she has assumed increased levels of responsibility, including as COO and Head of Portfolio Operations for Investcorp’s European Private Equity business.

Andrea received a BSc in Electronics and a MBA from London Business School and holds the FCA Senior Management Function 3 (Executive Director). She has been a passionate mentor and supporter for greater diversity in financial services throughout her career. Andrea has worked with Loughborough University to advocate for greater STEM learning among female students and is a guest lecturer on Private Equity electives at the London Business School & IESE in Barcelona.
