Jordan Schneider is joining Holland & Knight’s Miami office as a partner after serving as Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at Perry Ellis International, Inc.

Prior to joining Perry Ellis in 2019, Schneider was an associate with Holland & Knight’s Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group.

Schneider focuses his practice on representing both public and private companies and private equity funds in mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and other general corporate matters. He also represents both insureds and underwriters in connection with transactional risk products, including the issuance of representations and warranties insurance policies.

“We are pleased that Jordan has decided to continue his career with us,” says David Barkus, co-leader of the firmwide Corporate Practice and head of the firmwide Private Equity Team. “Opportunities to add partners with Jordan’s skill set in the areas of M&A and private equity are rare. His experience will be put to use right away as we see the volume of our work increasing.”

“I’m tremendously excited to be re-joining Holland & Knight and for the opportunity to once again play a part in the exponential growth our M&A and private equity practice has continued to see,” says Schneider. “My time at Perry Ellis International was extremely valuable in that I gained significant first-hand executive level experience with the business and operational issues that are relevant to our clients in corporate transactions.”

Schneider earned a JD degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BSM degree in Finance from Tulane University.
