EY-Parthenon has added three new partners to its European Private Equity team – Georg Hochleitner, Simon Oertel, and Malvinder Singh – who in April and May 2021.

Hochleitner and Oertel join from Alvarez & Marsal and Oliver Wyman, and will focus on the execution of Commercial and Operational Due Diligence projects as well as the implementation of post-acquisition Value Creation programs. Singh, who joins from Alvarez & Marsal, will bring his proven expertise in IT transformation. All three new hires bring many years of experience in working with Private Equity funds and their portfolio companies.
Growth of the EY-Parthenon Private Equity team in Europe comes at a time when the appetite for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) runs at pace. According to the latest edition of the EY Capital Confidence Barometer, most UK executives (57 per cent) are planning M&A activity in 2021 – ahead of the US (45 per cent) and the global average (49 per cent).

In addition to its core services in transaction advisory, the EY-Parthenon Private Equity team is increasingly focusing on the development and implementation of value creation and optimisation programs. EY-Parthenon already has a strong European Private Equity Value Creation presence and will continue to invest into Partner and team additions in the UK as well as Central and Western Europe.
