Global law firm Dechert is growing its global private equity practice with the addition of Dominik Stühler as a corporate and securities partner in the firm’s Munich office.
Stühler will focus his practice on national and cross-border private equity deals and mergers and acquisitions. Some of Stühler’s high-profile mandates include advising Hg on the sale of STP Group, Apax Partners and its portfolio Neuraxpharm on the acquisition of Buccolam, Summit Partners on the initial public offerings of Westwing Group AG and Global Fashion Group and PAI Partners on the acquisition of Armacell Group from Blackstone as well as on the contemplated acquisitions of IFCO and Ammeraal Beltech.
Stühler is recognised as a “frequently recommended” lawyer for private equity by JUVE. He is admitted as a lawyer in Germany and holds dual graduate degrees in law and business administration from University of Regensburg in Germany as well as an MBA from Vlerick Business School in Leuven, Belgium.
Mark Thierfelder, chair of Dechert’s corporate and securities group and chair of the firm’s global private equity practice, says: “Dominik is a prominent addition to Dechert.
