Meghan Sharp was named managing director and global head of Decarbonization Partners, the investment partnership between BlackRock and Temasek Holdings, Singapore’s state investment arm, according to an internal BlackRock memo provided to Pensions & Investments.
Ian Kitchenham recently joined the decarbonization team as a director. He is based in London. Previously, he was chief operating officer and head of strategy, Asia Pacific, for BlackRock Global Credit, the memo said.
BlackRock managed $10.01 trillion as of Dec. 31 and Temasek managed S$381 billion ($283 billion) as of March 31.
