BlackRock Real Assets’ BlackRock Infrastructure Solutions (BIS), the firm’s dedicated infrastructure multi-manager investment team, has successfully achieved a EUR1.4 billion final close for its latest private infrastructure equity fund, Global Infrastructure Solutions 4 (GIS 4), exceeding its initial target.
GIS 4 offers investors diversified, global exposure to infrastructure equity investments through combining primaries, secondaries, and co-investments.
The Fund, which primarily targets brownfield infrastructure investments in developed markets benefitting from secular, long-term trends such as digitalisation, decarbonisation, and decentralisation, attracted institutional investors across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific. As of the final close, it has already committed close to half of client commitments to underlying investments.
